I Love this song! It has an urgent tempo as if one is in a hurry. Not sure here, but I think it's about the lonely life of being a truck driver. More than anything he just wants to get home to his Love. He seems to be tortured on the road by the lights and the sights that confine him to the eagle he belongs (his truck) which rolls him on his way.. but he is stuck in the 'time away' instead of where his heart is. I sense he has a fear that he is losing precious time because she longs to be with him too, but psychological time is a slow death on the road. Until reunion, the Freeway is my song and it leads my love light on! |

What a Great Song! Could it be about the broken hearted who feel like they have been forgotten, who have so much love to give? The song hints as if there is someone out there waiting for you to come along. The smooth melody of the guitar is as if time is passing by in a painstaking way, and we just want to be noticed as if our hearts are on display for the right one to see. YES! Are you kidding me? I love to think about it can be a man or a woman that is waiting.
I find the challenge in this song also could be to be a friend or the difference in a strangers life in a way that you are meant to be..such a great song to slow down to and appreciate another! |

I believe it to be a time and place of great spiritual and emotional healing, and where all our thoughts and deeds will be swallowed up in the LoVe of our Maker.
Could it be a time and place where we become one with all the people and realities that shaped our existence and where we did the same for others? Where we come to know of the immeasurable LoVe that we all share toward and from our Creator?
