| Scorpions – The Zoo Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Oh and Maiden's cover is ok, though dickinson did not use his usual voice on that one, trying to imitate klaus's voice... but this song was not meant to be played that heavy to begin with... plus Mathias jabs plays the better solo of both versions. | |
| Scorpions – The Zoo Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I don't think they meant the zoo as where animals are, it's probably a metaphore for the place that they were in... "streets we call the zoo", it's about having a blast with his girl in this wild place they call the zoo. | |
| Metallica – Sabbra Cadabra (Black Sabbath cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I like Black Sabbath... but Metallica adds to any cover their ever legendary touch. I duno maybe it's that southern accent which James has... Anyway the first part of this song has a clear meaning... it's the second part probably talking about death is not the end... and there is a second life after this one "Well I know its hard for you To know the reason why And I know you'll understand More when it's time to die Don't believe the life you have Will be the only one You have to let your body sleep To let your soul live on" |

| Metallica – Free Speech for the Dumb (Discharge cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| For a song that old... It's really weird how did Discharge know about George W Bush back then... | |
| Luther Vandross – Dance With My Father Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Great song... I'd advise the people who posted here to also try the song "Eye to Eye", by a band called the scorpions... I miss you dad, You were and will always be the man i'll ever want to be. | |
| Metallica – Too Late Too Late (Motörhead cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It's another Motorhead cover, Metallica Style. | |
| Metallica – Sad But True Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This song is about one's alter ego or second personality, someone who is good in general yet they have a bad side which they don't show... that's why at the end of the song the lyrics goes "I'm you", the part of you who is tempted to steal, who feels pain, open your eyes and you can see me... anyway that's how i see it. |
|
| Metallica – Turn the Page (Bob Seger cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Thank you Metallica for existing. I duno bob seger's version, but i can't imagine myself liking this song any other way than how Metallica performed it. I'd defenitely NOT listen to seger's version so that he won't ruin it for me. | |
| Lenny Kravitz – Dancin' Til Dawn Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| The vid for this song is the usual Kravitz... that girl is real hot | |
| Disturbed – Darkness Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This song is about him giving faith one last shot, as if he is praying for God to answer him, give him the courage to believe one last time before another dissapointment comes as he'll then surrender completely to darkness, and to trying to make it on his own, not depending on God or faith anymore. I duno, just how i saw this song, pretty much from that first verse: "Don't turn away I pray you've heard The words I've spoken Dare to believe For one last time And then I'll get the Darkness cover me" |

| Ozzy Osbourne – Rock 'N' Roll Rebel Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| It's the answer back of the Ozzzzzzzman to society... back when this song was released he was accused to be Satan incarnated. | |
| Oasis – I'm Outta Time Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I never really liked Oasis, this is the first song that I ever heard to the band and I really liked. The lyrics are missing, there is that quote from a John Lennon's interview towards the end, "As Churchill said, it's every Englishman's inalienable right to live where the hell he likes. What's it going to do, vanish? Is it not going to be there when I get back?" Very captivating, it just keeps ringing into your head till you listen to it at least 3 times in a row lol. About the meanings I think that bigrobbo dude probably got the most sense out of it. |

| Metallica – Broken, Beat & Scarred Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| 'what don't kill ya make ya stronger' I got a similar say in my country as well, i guess its something that everybody is using, so true though. PS: James vocals on this one and all nightmare long is epic. | |
| Metallica – Cyanide Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Probably someone committing suicide after years of pain: Say is that rain or are they tears? That stained your concrete face for years The crying, weeping, shedding strife Year after year, life after life |
|
| Metallica – Suicide & Redemption Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| well they sound as if they are back to enjoying playing music... why does everyone keeps bashing Lars, no one is asking you to live with the guy if you don't like his character or something but he's the one who co-founded Metallica, you at least owe him some respect for that alone, imagine the metal scene with no Metallica... unless you founded a more successful metal band ever which i doubt anyone can ever do. | |
| Metallica – The Unforgiven III Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I duno if any1 else is noticing this or just me, but the intro of the song with the piano and esp b4 the guitar starts to play sounds exactly like 'ecstasy of gold' the tune that Metallica used to play before kicking off each concert from some western movie i think. Anyway its a great song from an even greater album, i think i would have loved it even more if they named it other than the unforgiven 3, i mean enough dweling on that title, name it forgive me or i duno heh, great song nevertheless. | |
| Metallica – Broken, Beat & Scarred Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
The new old sound of Metallica is better than anything else they ever did, this song is rocking amazing, the guitar works is something out of this world. I believe the line 'what don't kill you make you more strong' describes perfectly what this song means. |

| Metallica – Remember Tomorrow (Iron Maiden cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Awesome iron maiden cover, they done it quite well even though no vocalist can come close to Bruce dickinson's vocals on this one especially the live version | |
| Falco – Rock Me Amadeus Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| smjuke your translation maybe the correct one, but with no offense that guy's translation sounded cooler. | |
| The Beatles – And I Love Her Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| really wonderful, if you listen to the song back to back (it suddenly occured to me that I always play this song at least 3 times back to back whenever i wana hear it) you can notice that it ends same way as it begins except in a slower rythm. These guys were the best. | |
| Lipps, Inc. – Funkytown Lyrics | 17 years ago |
