okay, dark lyrics, your wrong and vince mcmahon, your so wrong i'm scared this song was written by Ian Curtis, and, as with most of his lyrics, is about his day by day struggle with his epliepsy and suicidal nature. Curtis often remakred and said that he wrote through other peoples eyes and wanted to write lyrics that could mean different things to everyone. Dark Lyrics, your reading wayyyyyy to must into it, the song is just about a desperate call of help while they're slowly being pulled under. People take lyrics so literally nowdays. |

basically, people who talk about Slipknot selling out because they have a top ten video, it just shows how much they understand about music When you listen to the album, sure it's not as raw as their debut, but it's still fucking heavy they didn't really ask to have "top ten songs" and it's not like they compltley changed their sound when you read they're lyrics, their still the same, the riffs are still heavy, the drums still incredible, it's all there just because it might sound a little less raw, you suddenly acuse them of selling out just because they can finally afford some decent mixing i'll admit, vol 3 is not my favourite album, but it's still damn good by any other bands standards, and if it was released by any other band it'd be considered their best face it, your just bitter because suddenly the band you and only you used to love is now suddenly embraced by the media man up and get over it |
