i find it amusing that on the "parent-friendly" cd it says "it's a MONSTERTRUCKER!"

I take this song to be a break up song......whats funny is the music and word combo----beautiful slow song titled "Its a Motherfucker"

this song could be for death or a break up. it's all about losing someone and remembering everything and having a hard time moving on

To me it's about figuring out what to do with yourself after being in a relationship. Finding yourself on your own again. Sunday afternoon is usually when we have the most time on our hands and if you don't have anything to do but sit around and dwell on the past it can get pretty depressing.

this song reminds me of what i once had. it's the realisation that you fucked up. the realisation that, despite everything that may have happened, good or bad, that they effected you, helped mould you, became a part of you. and now they're gone.

I've got a much-needed correction for the third verse:

It's a motherfucker How much I understand The feeling that you need someone To take you by the hand

If i remember correctly, the song is to his sister who commited suicide when he was writing the album. Of course it's open to interpitation of how it makes you feel. It's very beautiful and it's been comforting for me in the wake of my best friend's death.
