Foo Fighters – Let It Die Lyrics | 12 years ago |
I get that it's annoying when people think that every song is about Kurt, but this one clearly is. And no, he isn't speaking to Courntey about letting it die. I think he's finally allowing himself to be angry with Kurt, asking him, did you ever think of me? and why'd you have to let it die? He isn't wasting his time on Courtney because he's above that. the only reference to her in this song is blushing bride. The rest of it is straight to Kurt, and more power to him for realising it's okay to be angry. Loved ones often are when suicide is involved. x |

The Sunshine Underground – Commercial Breakdown Lyrics | 14 years ago |
No comments, seriously? Epic song. I think it's about how the media keeps churning out stuff to keep our minds occupied, "Well I saw it on the TV, At least it keeps me busy." so that we're kept from knowing or having time to think about real issues, "And I'm only missing the point, It's what the media say and then expect your head to turn away." But the silver lining is, "You're never gonna get me". Sunshine Underground is AWESOME. |

The Clash – Kingston Advice Lyrics | 15 years ago |
These days, there's no food (no rice) no love (no love to give) not even a way out (no razor blades), but all you have is fear and oppression from the government. Perhaps it's easier to know nothing and be ignorant, than to know everything and be so fully aware of what's going on. |
