| Borialis – Don't Mean A Thing Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Jeez, who ever wrote these lyrics are deaf! They're REALY wrong, horrific even! Here's the correct lyrics, I practically had to re-write 'em!: Enough of all that, let’s switch up the format with songs that, Make you look far past the forecast Ain’t gonna talk gats, just hand-to-hand combat Man-to-man full contact on the floor mat Your low blows are all deflectable I'll go toe-to-toe with you at your own dojo Want none of you bozos at my show With some silly hoe shakin' her ass up in my video I didn’t know, with her itty-bitty clothes, Take off your Playdo but you’ll still be pretty though I used to kick flows out in the cold until my lips froze Folks memorize my poems like they zip codes I grab a pen and pencil, like it's a pistol And I’m known on a dance floor at a disco You won't see what you want from me, So don't come to me with what's it all mean ‘cos It don't mean a thing Your lies is all I despise, been fightin' guys like you all my life and They don't mean a thing My best shit ain't even on my set list, You reckless listeners can't even get this, So what you sold records you ain't respected, You went too far and tried too hard to be accepted, Kids who cried for you now laugh at you So be glad that I got signed after you ‘Cos if I didn’t then you wouldn’t have half the pull But for now we’re putting it down on capitol This can never be a thing of jealousy Just don't be tellin' me to check the melody I got the better beats, got the better rhymes, You ain’t heard nuthin’ this fine since Sublime So what's up kid? Your ego’s been busted, Don't get disgusted, I'm just servin' justice. You won't see what you want from me, So don't come to me with what's it all mean ‘cos It don't mean a thing Your lies is all I despise, been fightin' guys like you all my life and They don't mean a thing My soul bleeds to expand my whole fame If I can I’ll be doin’ this until I’m an old man So don't attempt, to beg for my pardon, ’Cos I'll keep talkin' til' my arteries harden, I've takin' losses, told off some bosses, Sick of all you thoughts, you all make me nauseous, It ain't worth it, workin' for your purpose, For cash I'm hurtin', future's uncertain, So I keep searching, livin' and learnin', Earnest, to earn everything I'm deservin' If I can't be on the stage with my band jammin', I'll be standin' on the street corner panhandlin' You won't see what you want from me, So don't come to me with what's it all mean ‘cos It don't mean a thing Your lies is all I despise, been fightin' guys like you all my life and They don't mean a thing You won't see what you want from me, So don't come to me with what's it all mean ‘cos It don't mean a thing Your lies is all I despise, been fightin' guys like you all my life and They don't mean a thing |

| Rob Zombie – Demon Speeding Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think it's about young kids - teenagers speeding and drag street racing, " Hey do ya love it when the kids are screaming." Like screaming down the street. "Wrecking on the road, violate thier dreaming." The kids crash and thier dreams are shattered. "Hey do ya love me elevating the madness." Could mean that this person is making the races more dangerous and extreme. "A super death rising to get you through this." Because the races are so extreme and dangerous, courageous drivers have death after them, 'helping' them through the extreme races. "Hey do ya love me as a beautiful fiend, yeah." Could mean that the drivers see the person as a fiend but like him because he sets up these awesome races. |

CORRECT FINAL LYRICS: You're probably sick of being tired You can't find the strength to close your eyes You can't let go but you can't change everything Stop laying in this burning bed Write it on the walls and read it Bright red so you can see it Don't fail me now Write it on the walls and read it Until there are no secrets So safe and sound At least for now Time's gonna warn you with a whisper What it wants to let you know You can't live in fear of the things that aren't for sure So stay alive by playing dead Write it on the walls and read it Bright red so you can see it Don't fail me now Write it on the walls and read it Until there are no secrets So safe and sound Still there are lines for us to write before we close our eyes And only time will tell the ending when the ink runs dry Time will tell everything It's ever so quiet counting down [That's why I write it down, left it there with the blood out of my hands to stare at and it drops right down It dried and I turned around and the blood was a small price to pay it made it real it made it real because I write it down, left it there with the blood on my hands to stare at and it drops right down It dried and I turned around the and the blood was a small price to pay it made it real it made it real…] Write it on the walls and read it Blood red so you can see it Life leaking out Write it on the walls and read it Until there are no secrets So safe and sound At least for now At least for now |

EASY TO LERAN FROM CORRECT LYRICS: Hey, hey, hey (repeated) I saw you from across the street today My heart skipped a beat today Reminded me of those lost days When glory never fades Never fades, fades away After years and miles my broken feet Walked up to you on this broken street I guess the years were fine ‘Cos the years just made you shine Never fade, fade away I heard someone say That nothing gold can stay But there’s a love in all our souls that it shines like gold (it shines like gold) I saw you from across the street today My heart skipped a beat today Reminded me of those lost days When glory never fades Years past by and you remind me Those days would always find me Young hearts are made of gold That never fades away Never fades, fades away I heard someone say That nothing gold can stay But there's a love in all our souls that it shines like gold (gold) As the years past by A young heart beats inside These dreams of yours and mine that time can't take away Take away, take away I heard someone say That nothing gold can stay But there’s a love in all our souls that it shines like gold I heard someone say That nothing gold can stay But there’s a love in all our souls that it shines like gold (Hey, hey, hey (repeated)) It shines like gold It shines like gold |

| Linkin Park – With You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
A few problems with the original lyrics, here the correct ones: CORRECT LYRICS: I woke up in a dream today To the cold of the static and put my cold feet on the floor Forgot all about yesterday Remembering, I’m pretending to be where I’m not anymore A little taste of hypocrisy And I’m left in the wake of the mistake slow to react Even though you’re so close to me You’re still so distant and I can’t bring you back It’s true the way I feel Was promised by your face The sound of your voice Painted on my memories Even if you’re not with me I’m with you You, now I see keeping everything inside With you You, now I see even when I close my eyes I hit you and you hit me back We fall to the floor the rest of the day stands still Fine line between this and that When things go wrong I pretend the past isn’t real Now I'm trapped in this memory And I’m left in the wake of the mistake slow to react So even though you’re close to me You’re still so distant and I can’t bring you back It’s true the way I feel Was promised by your face The sound of your voice Painted on my memories Even if you’re not with me I’m with you You, now I see keeping everything inside With you You, now I see even when I close my eyes With you You, now I see keeping everything inside With you You, now I see even when I close my eyes No, no matter how far we've come I can't wait to see tomorrow No matter how far we've come I I can't wait to see tomorrow With you You, now I see keeping everything inside With you You, now I see even when I close my eyes With you You, now I see keeping everything inside With you You, now I see even when I close my eyes |

| Just Jack – Writer's Block Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
CORRECT LYRICS: Just Jack – Writer’s Block “I must have got up about twenty to seven, had a shower, and had breakfast, and er, had a couple of pieces of toast, you know, forced it down, then had a cup of coffee, it was pouring with rain and I thought oh God, you know, proper England.” I get this writer's block; it comes as quite a shock, And now I'm stuck between a hard place and the biggest rock, In my own head consume, I sit back in my room, It's like the tapestries of life get tangled in the loom, I'm like a butterfly, caught in a hurricane, My pulse is quickening as my heart plays a new refrain I'm lovin' Mary Jane, flyin' with Lois Lane, On board a bullet train Don't know yet if I'm glad I came Don't know yet if I'm glad I came “Obviously this helped me I think.” Don't know yet if I'm glad I came Don't know yet if I'm glad I came “I always hoped that it would happen but I never though it really would.” Sometimes at night I think too much, About life and love and music and stuff “I must have, kind of felt that my head was too high.” I'm livin' in the past, My clock is an hour fast, Should really go and make a coffee but I can't be arsed, I've lost my mobile phone, You'll have to call my home, On second thoughts just leave a message when you hear the tone, My grimy windows show, the early morning glow, Another day, another dollar in my one man show I'm lovin' Mary Jane, flyin' with Lois Lane, On board a bullet train Don't know yet if I'm glad I came Don't know yet if I'm glad I came “Obviously this helped me I think.” Don't know yet if I'm glad I came Don't know yet if I'm glad I came “I always hoped that it would happen but I never though it really would.” I fell out with Mary Jane, I don't speak to Lois Lane and I missed that bullet train But now I know I'm glad I - Fell out with Mary Jane, I don't speak to Lois Lane and I missed that bullet train But now I know I'm glad I - Fell out with Mary Jane, I don't speak to Lois Lane and I missed that bullet train But now I know I'm glad I - Fell out with Mary Jane, I don't speak to Lois Lane and I missed that bullet train But now I know I'm glad I came But now I know I'm glad I came |

| Bloc Party – Uniform Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
CORRECT LYRICS: There was a sense of disappointment as we left the mall All the young people looked the, same Wearing their masks of ‘cool’ and ‘indifference’ Commerce dressed up as, rebellion 'Cause we're so handsome and we're so bored So entertain us, tell me a joke Make it long, make it last Make it cruel, just make me laugh We can't be heard, we can't be heard Drink to forget your blues on the weekend Think about more things to, buy The TV taught me how to sulk and love nothing And how to grow my hair long 'Cause we're so handsome and we're so bored So entertain us, tell me a joke Make it long, make it last Make it cruel, just make me laugh We can't be heard, we can't be heard So why'd you go picking fights that you'll lose? (When you have entertainment, when you have things to pass the time) So why do you go thinking thoughts that are above you? (You can be happy just playing dumb) (You can be happy just playing dumb) Well I was brave, and unique, intelligent, a snowflake; I could have been a hero No one can be trusted over the age of fourteen (Tattoo our arms) (Converse shoes) (Cynical) Well should we tell ourselves we’re different I've gotten so good at lying to myself Oh! All my pain and honour is used up Oh! Oh! Oh! All my guns are rusted So when're you gonna realise Those are not your wrongs to right Have another line, have another drink I am a martyr, I just need a motive I am a martyr, I just need a cause I'm a believer, I just need a moment I'm a believer, I just need a cause We're finding it hard to break the mould We're finding it hard to be alone We're finding it hard to untie ourselves We have nothing at all to say Uniform Uniform Uniform There was a sense of disappointment as we left the mall All the young people looked the same |

| Bloc Party – Where Is Home? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This another one of Bloc Party's songs that is about the black race. The song is describing how badly treated some black people wtill are and that they have no home as some places they are kicked out of. The lines "I want to stamp on the face of every young policeman, To break the fingers of every old judge" suggest that even the law sometimes has things against black people. If more people listened closely to Bloc Party's songs, they could always tell that they are expressing some very strong points, mostly political. |

| Everyone just read rufstuf's comment. He got the meaning of the song from the lead singer, so only he is correct. | |
| Kasabian – Last Trip (In Flight) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
It's obviously about acid. I mean, the name of the song is Last Trip, refferring to his last acid trip The last verse is also talking about his experience on acid and how it's wrecked his life, refferring to his loved ones and his personal life. He also says "no going back", this suggests that he can't change things in the past that he's done due to drugs. It's not promoting drugs, it's explaining how bad they can be. |
