It's obviously about acid. I mean, the name of the song is Last Trip, refferring to his last acid trip The last verse is also talking about his experience on acid and how it's wrecked his life, refferring to his loved ones and his personal life. He also says "no going back", this suggests that he can't change things in the past that he's done due to drugs. It's not promoting drugs, it's explaining how bad they can be.

its funny when I first heard the song I though tabs as in guitar tabs, but then looking at the lyrics I decided tabs as in acid, cuz I mean, 'dropping' these tabs? it could be a play on words as well I guess.. but no doubt the song is about drugs.
Is my favorite off of empire because it really sounds alot more like kasabian's first album than the rest.
