For the last verse, I think the "He takes these pills" means that he got depressed and start using medication which could also means drugs or alcohol. Then the "We take these pills" part refer to the many people using anti-depressants, drug or alcohol to get a "better life", meanings that we all do it in a certain kind of way... |
