this song is amazing. there's probably not that many comments because you can't find it anywhere. i had to buy the album at interpunk.com. i couldn't find it for a download except for a bad quality dl on limewire. so i just bought it on the website they advertise for their myspace. |

well...it's since i "met" you. not "meet." you sound like a foreigner learning english. sigh...i guess i'll just post all the correct lyrics, since i actually have the studio version. Fear, and panic in the air I want to be free From desolation and despair And I feel like everything I saw Is being swept away When I refuse to let you go I can't get it right Get it right Since I met you Loneliness be over When will this loneliness be over Life will flash before my eyes So scattered almost I want to touch the other side And no one thinks they are to blame Why can't we see That when we bleed we bleed the same I can't get it right Get it right Since I met you Loneliness be over When will this loneliness be over Loneliness be over When will this loneliness be over |

| Stars – He Lied About Death Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I think sure, the secret service is the obvious thing the song is describing, but i don't think the meaning is so thin. I think they're describing a secretly evil manipulative person who they can easily compare to the secret service, something so powerful yet contained. The motive&mood of the song is anger, yelling things like "I hope your drunken daughters are gay! You are the shadow of fear!" which is hella hilarious, if you ask me... anyway, that's my take. please respond with a rebuttal or agreement. :) |

| Muse – Stockholm Syndrome Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Never have I heard better style, incorporations of different rhythms/phrases, and overall passion, save Micro Cuts. Listen to it on headphones and the chromatic ups and downs pop up out of the chorus. So awesome. | |

| okay well my last comment was longer but there are so many damn glitches in this site that that's all it captured. oh well. | |

| Muse – Falling Away with You Lyrics | 20 years ago |

^---I agree w/ lauradonaghy. My favorite line in reference to the message is "So I'll love whatever you become... And forget the reckless things we've done... I think our lives have just begun..." So beautiful. Destructive, yet unconditional, love. Where the narrator feels it necessary to say how he doesn't care if he never gets the person...he only wishes the person the best life possible, even if it's without him. ...which is obviously a lie and defense against the truth, the truth that the only thing he ever wants is this person he sings about... The line is simply just to make himself feel better about the situation overall. Oh Bellamy. So simple. So perfect. My favorite ballad/soft song by Bellamy, or anyone for that matter, ever. sam |

| Muse – Endlessly Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| sigh...unconditional yet unrequited love...an eternal epidemic. Matt Bellamy is amazing. | |
| Muse – Cave Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I can not believe that people think this is about an eating disorder. I know my definition isn't set in stone, but what i do know for sure, is that it's not about a friggin eating disorder. Anyway, I believe it's about (whether it's Bellamy or just a person) someone who feels that whenever he becomes involved in a relationship, all he does is eat away at the other person and turn the relationship so that it only feeds his satisfaction. "So come in my cave, and I'll burn your hearts away Come in my cave and I'll burn your hearts away" He thinks he's a terrible person for his selfish "eating away" of his relationship-ees, and he feels terrible about it, but can't stop... "Leave me alone, it's nothing serious I'll do it myself, it's got nothing to do with you And there's nothing that you can do" there's simply no stopping it. sam |

| Muse – Hyper Chondriac Music Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| this song is beautiful...i love the new arrangement. It's like the whole first cd of Hullabaloo is Matt Bellamy broken in his music...and it's both beautiful and hideous...and i just want to keep listening no matter what i hear. So entertaining... bellamy rocks | |

omg i can't believe that ANYONE views this song as optimistic. jooolay is clearly correct in her explanation of this song. Brandon Flowers isn't the kind of guy to make his songs literal. He always incorporates some sort of satiric/sarcastic/sardonic message that gives the song a special meaning. For instance, "All These Things That I've Done" isn't about what he's done in life, it's about his plea to God for a relationship with him and answers to his neverending questions. "Midnight Show" isn't about something sexual like it sounds, it's actually about murder, just as Brandon explained when he described his "murder trilogy" of "Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine" "Midnight Show" and another song not on this cd. ALL OF HIS SONGS MEAN SOMETHING, and this isn't just some cheesy song in which he's so happy that he's found this girl and assumes everything will be alright. Conversely, he's saying it won't be alright, but the constant love for this girl has driven him to insanity, and all he can POSSIBLY DO ANYMORE is just say to himself, "Everything will be alright..." So there. It's sarcastic. It's bitter. It's emotional. Flowers is a genius. Let it be known. sam |
