Amazing song, best on Shangri-La Dee Da in my opinion. Definitely seems to be Scott talking about facing his addiction and trying to put it in the past and move on. I would bet the "lonely room" he is referring to is being in jail...cuz he was locked up for awhile before this album came out. |

This song was written by Scott and one of the other guys who worked on 12 Bar Blues with him (I can't remember who) about "that guy"'s son. I'm pretty sure Scott also related the lyrics to the abortion he and his wife went through around 1993/94. |

Seems to be about drugs. "Couldn't find a way to live through the pain/shame..." Maybe the dumb love means he has an affection for drugs and the feeling he gets via use but he knows in the end it is a dumb decision and its killing him. |

I've heard both versions of this song, considering the fact I have the Zeppelin album with "Dancing Days" ("Houses of the Holy"). Both versions sound very similar, except for the fact that STP has a lot more percussion and is a little heavier on the guitar in their cover of it. |

I think he's saying "my freedom". That makes sense with the rest of the song, doesn't it? There actually seems to be a bunch of noises and talking at the end. At one point, you can make out a bunch of dogs barking right at like the last second of the track. |
