I think its funny and a little sad that everyonce in a while you see a song interepreted as being about Fight Club. You can make an analogy from any song to any movie, and you guys prove that.
This song really hooked me on Finch, and especially the line, "Are you happy, I'll decide. These stories are so old how they match your eyes." When I first heard it, I thought it was 'maturize'. Ever since I found out the real lyrics, I still hear a double meaning when I hear that line. Fuckin kickass song
and Glassjaw and Finch are both fucking kickass bands, dont see why you have to insult either of them |

The singer said that this was about someone spending their life trying to please their father, doing all these things hes told to do, and save the good times for later. Right, but there are peoplp whove never heard of Dashboard (sad to say) so tehy have to find out. But if you do know them, you have to support trhm and buy teh CD. Screaming Infediliteis is the first one I ever heard, but its defniinitely not my favorite. I write lyrics too, and Dashboard is my biggest inspiration, their lyrics are the nest written of modern bands. If you want to see myt bands stuff, search for Boldly Going Nowhere. I completely idolize Something Corporate and their great lyrics, from Konstanine to Hurricane, to Punk Rock Princess. A good song doesnt have to be about a completely topic, instead of love or heratbreak. The only criteria for a good song is whether you like it; or not. Not whether the band is this certain style, which you would like, but you dont want to be labeled, or becuase you think its corny, and youre tired of pple saying they identify with it. Cuz if you like it, thats all that matters.

Yeah, these guys sound a little like Dashboard, but they don't have the same emotion in their songs. Its there, but not quite teh same. If you want to see some stuff thats got teh same feeling in the lyrics, look at some of the songs by Boldly Going Nowhere. They're a startup band, and they spread across pretty much the whole spectrum of punk, from emo, to indie, to the slower stuff.

This song wanst meant to be a suicide song. It was supposed to jsut be something that could have the Titanic song as a solo. But what the hell, it works. The title makes it seem like its about something hidden, but I stuck that in at the end. The song still kicks ass, but Im not suicidal, and I never had a girl like that. |

Our bassist Tom wrote this one, and I dunno what it means to him, but I feel its about a guy that is just sick of all the people around him falling in love, and falling for it. Hes shoving his friends heartbreask in his face, with an "I told you so" attitude.

This is definitely my favorite song. It was meant to be a funny scewed up love song, and it turned into a story bout a sorry loser whos really lucky (me). First, I wrote the first phrase, and at the end I was trying to think of a good scent. And Ive always thought cucumber melon was the weirdest scent ever. So I combined that and wildberries into cucumberberries (one word)
Btw, cucmberberries is NOT, I repeat, NOT a euphimism for something, despite what many of you think. You nasty, perverted minds out there...but that is pretty funny
