Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’

I wrote this one when I was on vacation, and I kept singing the first line over and over. So I made a song out of it, which got a little mushy, but hey, it happens. =)
This song is just supposed to be a twisted, screwed up intro to our band members. Its full of bullshit inside jokes, and its all for fun. I made the most fun of myself, just to be fair. And I thought we shouldve had a selftitled song, but that would be blacksabbath-jacking. So its named Self Titled.
Our bassist Tom wrote this one, and I dunno what it means to him, but I feel its about a guy that is just sick of all the people around him falling in love, and falling for it. Hes shoving his friends heartbreask in his face, with an "I told you so" attitude.
Personally, Im the romantic guy, but its still an awesome song.

Everyone this song's about me cuz my girlfriend dumped me, and I cried and I cried for hours and like my entire body was numb, and it was jsut a really ugly scene. haha. Please love our band?
