and to hit on the issue of Meaning...i think this song is about a couple haveing problems..and the boy is in complete and utter denial...he doesn't want to believe its over...and he won't believe it...His reasoning is.."you always say goodnight" pretty much sums it up...He realizes the relationship is bad by saying..
"So hold me in your arms before I leave you"
he loves her so much but he knows its the end..but he can't deal with it..
"But I don't really think that
I can take it. Will I make it alone somehow?" the song explains its self mostly..i just added some obvious insight...
