I agree... but many words are wrong in the text above... tomas has great lyrics by the way and it's good that he stays away from all the fantasy crap most metal bands sing about. Sweden rocks. |

porfirio diaz, was the president of Mexico (1877-80, 1884-1911), who established a strong centralized state that he held under firm control for more than three decades. if you read more about him you will probably understand the text better. |

It seems like atleast some people here don't know the meaning of what proletariat is... the proletariat is people who don't offer anything else than their manpower. Anyway I also think that this song is about the soviet union, and i agree with what vacantfademe wrote...but at first i didn't understand "the cotton candy coated teeth"... but after a while it seems obvious for me [since i think it's about soviet] that he is referring to all the cotton fields that they forced people to set up to make the country become more self-supporting around the aral lake (i think that it is the english name for it, (im swedish)) that has made the lake totally drain out... so what use to be the third biggest lake in the world is today more like a puddle in comparison. |

i definitely think that it has something to do about a plane going down... and the black is not the TV it is a thing that every plane gotta have... if a planes crashes or something you can get information from the black box of what happened to prevent similar accidents in the future... so its like "the plane is heavier than air - the black box must be lying" . get it? a logical thought. |

| Refused – New Noise Lyrics

For me refused is a different band from scratch to the end. they never got mainstream... not even in the hardcore scene. they had great anarchistic lyrics without having the fuck you attitude like most of the punk/hardcore bands had. And most important of all they inspired and pushed the evolution of hardcore far more than anyone else had. all this without getting much credit. RIP Refused. But Text and INC work pretty good as substitute. .... ... New Noise is a song that really makes you go... yeah yeah wow wow. in lack of words. |

| The Rolling Stones – Angie Lyrics

people have always been trying to make connections between rolling stones and bowie especially since the suspected song trading. so i really don't believe in that.
The lyric speaks for itself and I think it's chrystal clear what it means. |

| The Rolling Stones – Paint It Black Lyrics

For me this is the best song ever but i still can't figure out what was running in Mick Jagger's mind when he wrote the lyric. and i don't wanna know either. But the obvious thought that comes up is that he is depressed and he has lost faith in everything. the red door being painted black probably means that he even lost the strongest belief most people got. religion and in this case christianity. |
