I think this song means someone who is constantly trying to be happy for other people, when they say their girl ain't worth the price, they're most likely saying that even if they're in love, they don't want to act happy for their significant other, since that's what everyone else expects from them. |

(TW- talking about abuse)
At first, I thought this song was about an abusive relationship (still not sure,) because when they say "One love, two mouths, one love, one house," It could be saying the person isn't ever taking their love, or at least not consenting. It added when they would talk about their little high waisted shorts, so I believe it could be a song about an unconsenting relationship with someone who truly doesn't love them, who doesn't want what they do. |

this song is about anorexia. It talks about, I believe a band member who overcame it or went through it. The word Ana has only one 'n,' meaning anorexia. |

I feel like this song could mean someone who is obsessed with fame, since a devotee is someone who is heavily enthusiastic about something, LA devotee could be showing how ridiculous people get when it comes to fame and fortune. |

I think this song might be describing someone who has IED, intermittent explosive disorder, probably because they seem angry that they feel nobody wants them, no matter how hard they try to get someone's attention, then they might overcome it when he says he would pull the sheet. |

| Mother Mother – Burning Pile Lyrics

I think this song definitely has something to do with loneliness and not being able to overcome change and your problems. When he says 'throw my troubles at the pearly gates', it could mean suicide but it could also mean to let go of your troubles without death, of course. I think when he says 'I'll take my turn to burn and burn,' It could mean they would accept they're the problem, since he says he's tossing his troubles on the pile, he would accept that he is the problem because he knew that he is the reason he can't accept change or negative feelings in general. |
