| Diabulus in Musica – Allegory of Faith, Future, and Innocence Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| "Sit vis vobiscum" means "May the force be with you" in Latin. So, I'm guessing this is about Star Wars or something similar? | |
| Epica – Monopoly On Truth Lyrics | 12 years ago |

I think the song is about the media. Because the media over exaggerates everything, is bias, etc. "Can we trust all the facts And believe that the fancied wise are just and needed? Do we want to rely on the views Of the righteous ones who are succeeding? You look all around and you see All the things that are not meant to be Then you know it's time to let them go To let them go" ^That's just a little reason why I feel that it's about the media. |

| Nightwish – Song Of Myself Lyrics | 12 years ago |
|
I know it's about Walt Whitman's poem, titled the same name (it is a very beautiful poem, for the record), but I just gotta say this: "All that great heart lying still in a silent suffering Smiling like a clown until the show has come to an end What is left for encore is the same old dead boy's song Sung in silence" To me, that means someone with a "great heart" is hurt emotional, but doesn't say anything ("silent suffering") and fakes a smile until it's over, and then just pours everything out without anyone knowing ("sung in silence") Also, Piano black=Beautiful Emptiness. Pianos generally represent beauty and black generally represents emptiness, so, beautiful emptiness. |

| Delain – Silhouette of a Dancer Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I'm not really sure what it's about, but my interpretation is that you do something wrong, and everyone knows what you've done, and you're embarrassed by it. So you try to fade away ('And draw the silhouette of a dancer in my head') but it doesn't work. | |
| Within Temptation – A Demon's Fate Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| This better be on the Mortal Instruments, City of Bones, soundtrack. Because it's perfect. Literally. | |
| Delain – Generation Me Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I believe this song is about modern day social media. Makes a lot of sense. | |
| Epica – Blank Infinity Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| To me, this song is about when you're having a bad day, and you can't just move past it. You try to, but you can't, and you just keep feeling worse and worse. | |
| Epica – Internal Warfare Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I believe, if not mistaken, this song is about the Norwegian massacre... a horrifying tragedy. It makes sense if you look at the lyrics. | |
| Tarja Turunen – I Walk Alone Lyrics | 13 years ago |
|
I'm not a big Tarja fan with her solo career, however, this song and "My Little Phoenix" are her best in her solo career, diffidently, and I love them. There are a couple of songs I dislike on "My Winter Storm" and on "What Lies Beneath." I, do, however, love her career Nightwish, and I like her the same as I like Anette (don't kill me...) Anyways, I feel like the lyrics are self-explanatory, but I don't believe this is in response to Nightwish. That's just my opinion, though. This song is beautiful, and I do like Tarja's voice in it. She is a beautiful and talented singer, props to her. I really wish I could sing like her. I think she is actually great live, and I really wish she would come to America. Also, I don't find her much of a diva. There are worse people than her, trust me. The music video is amazing, too. If you haven't seen it (for some reason) Then my response to you is: GO. WATCH. IT. NOW. That's all what I have to say:) |
