Why the hell do people call Tarja a diva? Celine Dion is a diva, but no body hates her. Tarja is a finnish classical singer, and the reason she get attention at all is due to her amazing voice. What about the american idols, those are the greedy divas! They sing so they can be stars, Tarja sings because it is her life.
And now over to the song: It sounds to me that several of the songs on the My Winter Storm CD is dedicated to NW.
My Winterstorm... i think it refers to her time after being dumped by NW. A winterstorm is cold, unpleasant and deadly, Tarja survived the winterstorm after NW, and wants to remind them that she isnt gone yet.

I think it is a response to NW, telling them that she's still here and stronger than ever. I think the doll persona is about showing she's not as fragile as people might think, becoming a phoenix and rising above all she's been put through. I hope all her songs will be as strong as this.

The song is directly content to her being fired from Nightwish. Rather than dwelling with the scenario, Tarja chose to write and sing her own songs(like this one). She's actually telling Tuomas, the rest of Nightwish and EVERYONE that she will move on with her music career, alone.

I dont think the lyrics for this song are too complicated but its her different personas that confuse me in the video, especially the phoenix and doll ones. Great song though!
