You couldn't even get the lyrics right when the song was released as a lyric video π It "Except the new world," not "accept." |

Agree, I honestly always skip "Fell into Your Shoes", which I rarely do on any record of theirs. And no, if they, or Epic, insisted on an instrumental interlude, they should have used "The Gist". Honestly, "Leto's Headache" should have made the full album, I can't find that Hot Topic/Shockhound CD ANYWHERE! This track was just boring, I've heard much better interludes, the altered spelling of the title makes it seem as if they were trolling us to make the album seem like a standard 11-track, when it's actually only 10. Side Note: La Gargola has only 10 tracks, 47 minutes, but it's solid throughout. |

If you go on Spotify, Sam has commentary for each song. I saw that quote on VEVO that you posted. And Sam further confirmed that the song was about him encountering a mythical creature when taking the trash out at night. It's interesting how such a candid conversation concept can be implemented into such a badass song. The song was initially titled The Gargoyle, but was changed after the chose the official album title. |

| Right, you shouldn't post shit unless you get it from a credible source, like, let's say... the damned album booklet? | |
| KoЯn β Ball Tongue Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| Even though Davis' scat is what it is, scat. These fabricated lyrics are pretty good, I can actually believe he's saying that if I wanted to. Like the common "How can I have sex without out you!" misinterpretation from Shame by Stabbing Westward. It's believable if you focus on it. | |

"Due to copyright restrictions, we are not authorized to display these lyrics." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? How are we supposed to easily try to interpret the lyrics without them? Fine, here are the lyrics! How will this pan out Search and wish so lout Keep a candle burning To each his own should live Before I turn in envy I learn through sorrow I turn in envy And go to the wall See how the colors run And feel your Sunday rest Give me a name Bring it in Some change is for the best I may not win the race I may not reach the top Or I may not live your way Doesn't mean I'm stuck here We may not fit the mold Kind of going off Well, the medicine inside Takes a stronger hold As we Turn in envy I learn through sorrow I turn in envy And go to the wall Before I burn with envy I learn through sorrow I burn with envy And go to the wall To the wall To the wall Before I turn in envy I learn through sorrow I burn with envy And go To the wall |

| Chevelle β Grab Thy Hand Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
First of all, who's in charge of editing the lyrics and why haven't they fixed it? It's "Grab thy hand and walk," not "look" Second, Chevelle clearly states that their faith and their band are entirely separate. Yes, their faith may still influence their lyrics, but not to an extent. My mother had an interpretation that this song might be about a guy who wants to have an outer body experience and walk with God through heaven, but as the lyrics state (Just this once) he wants to come back to his body and live his life after that said experience. However, on their live album (Live from the Road) Pete says an intro to this song, "Here's one for the ladies in the house." So it also my be a sly metaphor (as he always does) for just wanting to walk with a pretty girl, hand in hand. |

Forgot the last part, if it matters. So I'll ask my curious side to follow you To a bed of angels Can't help this wandering eye Well lucky you The devil made ya look too far to the abyss No bed of angels, mystified defines it best The devil made ya look |

Here are the correct lyrics as they appear in the album booklet: Well hell if I Should decide To give it more A little effort Well hell if I'm Tempted again One little fight Replace by lust for you I'll ask my curious side to follow you To a bed of angels Can't help this wandering eye Well lucky you The devil made ya (look) Well I've never tried Pulling you in Lucky at last Defending answers It's almost like You're breaking my piΓΒ±ata while I'm hinting At my lust for you I'll ask my curious side to follow you To a bed of angels Can't help this wandering eye Well lucky you The devil made ya look too far to the abyss No bed of angels, mystified defines it best The devil made ya look |
