I think this song is about someone whose relationship ended and they think about sometimes til it becomes a habit of thinking about it. and he's saying "like why can't I get much better" which means why can't he find someone else. and "so fight me and take it all away" he wants those feelings to go away. "the only reason my eyes close is so they open with you by my side" means he would dream about her and wakeup and think about her. "so open your eyes my darling, todays a new day as i'm waking up" he wants her to relize how he's feeling and then he thinks he'll get over it. :) |

Unpopular opinion: I think that this song is about someone loving someone but they're not together anymore like when he says "gouge our your eyes" it means he doesn't want her to see the pain he's in because of her and "pull your heart to the floor" so that she could'nt love anyone except him again or that he didn't want her to feel sorrow for him. "this blade it feels so cold, baby hold me while i'm shaking" means that he obviously cut himself due to depression about her and "hold me while i'm shaking" because after you cut yourself you feel a shock which actually might shake you. "i'll stand back as you bleed" is him waiting for her to do the same as he did for her. "this knife has pierced my soul" means he won't ever feel the same again "yes i'll laugh out with blind eyes" mocking her as what she's doing, she can't she the pain he's in so she feels perfectly fine. "take me out of this place" suicide. -i'm not saying this is what it actually means, it's just my opinion on this song. |

I thought this song was about someone whose girlfriend died like when it says "look up see the sky that i do" I think it means that he's looking up to heaven at her and he's telling himself that he's fine without her but he's really not, and that maybe he's telling himself that she's not gone like "and if god takes you before me" but god already took her but he soon relizes that he misses her and he dreams about her, "i miss you baby close your eyes, let's meet again in our dreams tonight" and then when he's done dreaming he feels he's still with her. ~love craigs voice<3 |

I think this song was about someone whose loved one died and left them a mess emotionally and that person has a dream about him and she relized how much she missed him again like when she 'died' emotionally like when it says "and i'm still asking how I died" and "now I know just how I died" Also I think Craigs voice sounds really good in this song. Even though it does in every song on this album but it sounded really highpitched and I admire him for being a soprano or however you spell that xD |

Unpopular opinion: I thought this song was about someone having sex with a prostitute or something by the lyrics "Even though, I don�t know you I know for sure, I love you" and he said :I know for sure I love you because she's giving him sex willingly. and he was questioning himself "Is this really what you wanted" But the theorys of it being Craigs daughter makes alot more sense then my theory, Love this song<3 |
