And plus, I just saw Attack Attack and Of Mice & Men live. Both without Austin. Of mice & men is STILL amazing without Austin. Attack attack lost any potential they even had and still sucked. And guess who was the first act? Of Mice & Men. The main act was Attack Attack. Complete bullshit since Om&m put on a better show than Attack Attack ever could. Yet, because a bunch of scene kids and little girls listen to this bullshit, and people like you who actually call Attack Attack great music, they were the last fucking act. Overrated. |

Lol @ "a handful of great musicians". Attack attack was never good. Of Mice & Men should never be compared to them, just because Austin Carlile has the same sound to his voice, Of Mice & Men actually isn't autotuned up the ass. The singer, Shayley Bourget, can actually sing. Without autotune, trust me, his voice sounds just as amazing live. And attack attack was just some techno bullshit with shitty breakdowns and it just sounded like a load of unorganized noise. |

| We Came As Romans – To Move On Is To Grow Lyrics

I think since WCAR was getting called Christian on their first album, they made this new song, clearly stating that they aren't Christian and don't believe in that.
"When we wake up to the lives that we've created.
We'll see we built nothing, but destroyed it.
So turn around and head back the way you came.
I'll follow you, encourage you, we'll be steadfast in our way.
And as we make it back to where our lives branched off.
We will take the path we should have taken all along." |

They aren't Christian. I know the band very well. I'm from Detroit, they come here all the time and Kyle Pavone, the lead singer, lives only like 30 mins away from me. |

They're not a fucking Christian band. Kyle Pavone says it in his formspring all the time. We're friends with the guys, Andy Glass and I have texted about it. They just let everyone believe what they want, whatever helps them, whatever they percieve their lyrics as. If religion makes it a positive message for someone, then believe it. But they aren't Christian. I haven't asked, but I think a couple of them may even be atheist. |

I think this is about a girl who sees the cup half empty instead of half full, but she's got it made, she's able to make something of herself. But she's never happy. And even in their relationship, he could never make her happy. And she will never BE happy. No matter who she's with, or what she does. |

Your religion is corrupt, so get over yourself. "people think all catholics are fanatic" And you send such a good example to contradict that right? |

Oh jeez, you religious people would start saying this song is about God. It's clearly about a relationship that has ended. I'm not even sure if BTF is religious? |

I think it's clear how much hidden talent TDWP has. They get a lot of shit for being "not that good" and "overrated" and their songs are "repetitive". But they have more meaning than most hardcore/metalcore bands out there ever could. |

What's funny is you all thought that after this song, they'll start making things more like it, and like the other dude said, turn out like ADTR. But actually, take a listen to Zombie EP, no ballads like this. And a lot harder than anything TDWP has ever done. |

It could very well mean something in a romantic sense too, but every TDWP song is about religion. And it's obvious that these lyrics are about Jesus Christ, and his selflessness. I'm sure Hranica wrote it with the intent that anyone, even the non religious, could take it in either a romantic or religious sense. Hey, whatever helps you. |

"We're composing our funeral songs, note by note." Definitely means that society/humanity is ruining themselves, slowly killing themselves. I don't think it means to anything in particular, like global warming or drugs, it just means we are all self-destructing. Idgaf what that guy said what Mike says its about, that is EXACTLY what that line means. There's no other reason behind it. I've tried to think of any other reason. |

"Tombstones serve as mirrors and the graves are infinite." I think it may mean when you are dead, in the eyes of god, on judgment day, you will have to take a look at yourself. Who you've been. I don't know, that's what I got out of it. I'm probably wrong. |

| A Day to Remember – NJ Legion Iced Tea Lyrics

Jeremy McKinnon wrote this song about being straightedge. Note the lyrics "It's too late for them, they're headed straight for a meltdown. I'm not a part of your cliche." and "This is the life we chose, this is the life I lead, they can never take this from me." And possibly, the reason why it is called NJ Legion Iced Tea is because Iced Tea would be a non alcoholic beverage, but I could have that part wrong. Nonetheless, Jeremy McKinnon is straightedge, and wrote this song about it. |
