It surprises me, I have never heard this song. And I love The Kooks. Probably my favourite band(or one of them!).

Quite self explaniatory... I think it's about a couple who have argued or broken up recently (possibly on the phone) and he said things he didn't mean whilst angry. Then after he'd calmed down and thought about it, he realised what she actually means to him and what he'd really like to say to her. Pretty song.

this song is amazing :] i think with most songs, that i can be seen in very different ways; in one way it's as if they're madly in love with each other, and the second that she leaves from being around him, he misses her already. but in another sense, it's as if they used ot be madly in love but now the relationship has just ended and he's regretting it because he misses her already even though they've only just stopped being together. it's either beautiful or tragic type thing ;p but either way, it's a lovely song :-) x

most people are saying its a recent breakup but i dont think it is. i think some time has passed by and hes remmebering this girl. they must have had a very turbulous relationship. if shes still bitter about it&if he still misses her. the line "now im little older theres so much to you id like to say" just kinda gave me the impression that hes older and he still wants to tell her things
