Actually, I've thought about it more, and I have another meaning. To me this song is saying that no matter how I feel, no matter what my circumstances, God is always the one who has what I need. Reminds me of what Peter said to Jesus when most of Jesus' disciples left him. He asked Peter if he was going to leave too, and Peter said "Lord, where would we go? Only you have the words of life." |

I love this song. I first heard it on the radio a few months ago when I was coming home late. I just pulled into my driveway, and this song came on, and it was so powerful that I waited until it ended to turn my car off. Amazing. To me it is about God, his love being what I need to live. |

I love this song, it's one of my favourites on the album. It makes me think of a guy in war, and all he can think of is the love of his life, so much that even though storms are coming, even though he's being shot at, he won't give up on her, he won't turn back from her love. Personally for me I think of Jesus, and how in this life the world can be against us, and we have enemies, and there are so many life storms, I won't run back from Jesus. He is my lover, his voice is the one I listen for, and I'm answering his call. |

I LOVE this song. I love the gospel style of it, and I love the lead singer's voice, it's so rich with emotion. To me this song is about God's grace, and how no matter who we are, or what we've done, we can come to the river of living water and lay everything down. |

To me this song is about knowing that God doesn't always take us out of our problems. Becoming a Christian doesn't mean your life is going to be easy. We'll go through hard times, but God doesn't always remove us, because sometimes he wants to do something through us, and use these times to produce something good in us. There's a promise that He's ALWAYS with us. He stays with us. |

For me this song is about having victory over stuff that used to hold you down, and how once we decide to leave them behind they try to claim us back. But we're not owned by those things anymore. I love the line "You can put a target on my forehead. You can fire, but you've got no bullet." Reminds me of the verse in the bible where it says "Where, oh death, is your sting?" |
