this song is soo cutee (: i'm not exactly positive on the meaning but this is my interpretation: the boy is going through a rough spot, just got over a breakup perhaps. then this girl comes and is just amazing & gorgeous. he feels like she can help his broken heart go away. it seems like it's a summer love. the boy doesn't know what made him feel this for her so he blames it on the summer rain. |

"i'm not in love, this is not my heart." the guy knows in his heart that he loves the girl, but doesn't want to admit it to himself or even to others. "this is not your song." the girl did not show the same feelings towards him, which is the reason he's trying to convince himself he doesn't love her. therefore he maybe didn't want her to get the satisfaction of this song being about her and being 'hers'. obviously the guy in this song is in love, but the girl didn't show love in return. everyone including himself could see he still loved her, but he maybe didn't want to look stupid & love her even though she was not in love with him, so the whole song is him convincing himself he's not in love. this is just my opinion but i also agree with all the others (: this songg is like perfect for my situationn currently. |
