I love this song, it has a very strong meaning and gives off a very chill sound. My favorite verses in this song is She has a name But I don't have to know 'Cause all I'm after Is all she has to show We cannot save We can't even slow Our loss of innocence Every little child has to grow Correct me if i am wrong but i feel this is about some guy watching porn on the internet. It just saying how she is a person just like everyone else in this world, she has a name, she has friends, she has a life, but none of those things matter to this guy, he just wants to be pleasured by the presence of this girl over the internet.You cant little by little take innocence away. it is all or nothing, every child has to learn their mistakes somehow or another. |

I feel like this song is directed to our views on life. So many people think that our whole life is planned out and we are getting ran rather than running our own lives. In this song he is just pointing out that we are really free. The biggest give away is in the third paragraph he is saying, Can I make you a believer It’s you, no deceiver Did you find puppet strings? Or the truth? Can he make you believe what he is saying, your running your own life, look on yourself, can you see that you are being ran or do you just see the truth, there is nothing running our lives. |

this isn't even a "point" as you said. If your saved you do know it... but how can you be %100 sure? you cant be. faith is the only thing there. after awhile you start to question in your head. is this all real. could this be a lie? did you ever think of that? and why does it matter if a christian doesnt listen to christian music? is it bad? no of course not. We obviously shouldnt be listening to music that uses bad language and such but its not bad to listen to non christian music. |

If I make it to heaven I may be as bloody as hell would you still take me? He is just saying that if he truly makes it to heaven will he be allowed in. Saying that he is just as equal as the ones going to hell. I'm afraid that you might say "depart from me, for I never knew you" These three lines are saying that when judgment day comes he is afraid that God will say he can not enter into heaven because of possibly the wrong type of religion he may have been following. 'cause I'm in the wrong body I'm in the wrong body I'm in the wrong body I must have stumbled in I think in these four sections the reason he is saying "I'm in the wrong body" is because he feels he should not have all of this. The chances are so slim that he can find the light that millions will never even hear about. All the love I want to give gets caught between every rib what does that make you? I am not very sure what he is trying to say here. My opinion to the first two lines are that he wants and has all the love to give God but he can not get it out of him. I'll have good intentions but no exit for them to come out right through Once again i think he is just restating of how he has all the right motives but his body will just not let them out. now you pulled me near you when we're close i fear you still im afraid to tell you all that i've done i love that part of the song. very true in many peoples eyes. its saying that when you(God) have pulled me near you. i fear you. saying that you cant fear God if you dont know his limits or power that he contains. when you are close to him you know what he can do to you. you know his limits and powers. and. still im afraid to tell you. all that ive done is saying that even though he knows everything. its still so hard for us people to tell him and confess to him what we have done. i love this band and song so much. |
