Christian sheep. Very original.
This is makes a lot of references to Lovecraftian mythos, Akkadian and Babylonian mythology, so like L�rs points out, it looks like some sort of summoning ritual.
I love this song, and the fact that they didn't title this song "Morbid Angel" makes it that much better.
morbid: Of the nature of or indicative of disease.
so technically "Morbid Angel" and "Angel of Disease" refer to the same thing, but at least its a little more creative than just using the same name twice. |

I agree with most of your posts so far, but really, its not fair to make that assessment. I like maybe... 3 Korn songs. And I listen to all sorts of shit. Anywhere from Dream Theater to Cannibal Corpse to everything in between. Alice in Chains? Fuck yes. Overkill? Of course. Opeth? Bet your balls.
Yes, Korn is very repetitive, but you gotta give it to them. They know how to write catchy tunes AND make it seem like they're original and not complete sellouts to the nerdy kids. |

They don't change their music because they have no talent and just rehash all their old songs into "new" ones. Bands progress through time as they mature as musicians. If your band sounds the same on every album, they're obviously not becoming better. |

That doesn't make sense at all. Generally speaking (and in Staley's case), you shoot up heroin. "Rocks" refers to crack cocaine, which is smoked. You don't "break rocks", and smoking crack doesn't leave you bruised up.
This is obviously NOT about drugs, unless you know nothing about them. |

Its clearly ripping off Queen. I love Muse and have liked everything up to this album, despite allegations of ripping off other bands (Radiohead in particular. I like both bands, I don't see the similarities). But this, this is a blatant copy of Queen's style. Not pleased at all. |
