Does anyone notice faint talking at the start of the song? It's way to static to make out, even on high volume. Anyone know why it's there, or better, what is being said?
From what I could make out, vaguely, I heard something about the compassions of man and something about Jesus sacrificing himself...but I think that's wrong. |

I believe it was only humans who didn't have knowledge, and Angels had the same knowledge - or less - as God. Not gonna get into a whole religion bible bash but I think Angels did have knowledge about good and evil, and yeah, God's right hand (or is it left?) angel defied God.
And yeeah, it is a sin. Hope that helps.... |

These lyrics contradict each other
What I gather is that he has done something, hence "I saw blood, hold my tongue" then he says "I'll keep you number one" ??
then he goes onto say how he wants her not to hold him, but to hold him strongly? doesn't make sense, seems as if he is confused about what he feels.
But something that does make sense is in the chorus how he explains that without her he will only shake and become weak and that's why he is scared, scared of being alone. but again ruined by "I'll be your blunt machete" which could mean that he will only hack the relationship apart brutally rather than slicing it in two with one clean swipe |

I reckon that "werewolf" is actually meaning "lover" because if you swapped the words it would make more sense. Like, the singer could be telling the listener how they live in a world where it isn't normal to love someone; hence the "We're entwined, and helpless".
And it just sprung into my mind, that "werewolf" is used instead of "lover" because if love is something that isn't looked at normally, then they would be seen as weird or different and strange. |
