some of these lyrics are wrong. maybe its just typos but "an a bed of sweet surrender where we" should be "on a bed of sweet surrender." "some a little closer baby" should be "come a little closer baby" "of everything that stand between us" it should be stands. "and let it wash all youu hurt away" should be the instead of youu. "i wanna touch you like a crimson robe" i dont know what it should be but its not robe. "back to the basics of ou and me" you need a y to make you. "every inch of you accross my skin" its against instead of across sorry to be critical but those are the rights lyrics. most of them probably typos or what you thought it'd be but those are the rights lyrics. haha rebelchic. sweet song. |

cant believe no one has commented on this! so simple lyrics wise but there is a deeper meaning. sometimes everyone hates the world but there are those little moments when the world is mesmerising. and yea they world is full of all the bad stuff but theres good in it aswell. love this song deeply. one of the best on the new album. my sisters friend gave her a cd and this was track 1 and she was like 'this is mayday you know?' and i was like 'omg they sound different'. i had their previous album. we were sitting in the aldi carpark with the doors of the car open and blaring out this song and fell in love with it instantly. i realised i needed to get the new album. hence i got it as a christmas present and i fell in love with it. this song and still breathing hold a special place in me as they were they first ones i heard off the new album. i always hope i will find this sort of summer romance with someone. someone special. can't wait for it to happen. the only bummer is that the summer ends. i think the meaning is quite self explainitory. summer romance that he wants back. can't explain what a trance this song puts me in. im listening to it right now. cant forget it. |

look at the film clip and its sort of like he hates his life and he just wants to get away to a place where theres not all the shit hes feeling in his everyday life. so he escapes to his 'secret love'. love this song. not my favourite off the new album but still awesome. love the bit towards the end where he does the chorus with no layers and then he breaks back into it and all the instruments come back in and his voice rises that little bit. gets me everytime. |

i reckon this song is about people who think they are above everyone else because they are religious. its about people who are self obsessed because of their religious status. someone is pointing a finger and pointing out faults in another person but they are being hypocritical, hence the mirror thing. hayley is saying that the person believes they are so above everyone that it must be lonely because no one respects them any more because of their 'belief'. i think that there is some reference to someone who is annoying her because of the things she is saying about someone. i must admit this is one of my favourite songs on the album. "the way i, way i see it, net time you point the finger i might have to bend it back or break it, break it off, next time you point the finger, ill point you to the mirror.' i must admit that part gets me every time. especially the repeating bits |
