I think this song is about how people don't listen...and for the people who's just trying to help you, they just won't let you. Once someone tries to help you [reach you] you push them away, make excuses (Don't speak again, I'm still waiting for my turn; and The pointless conversation, I'm running out of patience)

Just my opinions.

Corrected the lyrics a bit, to how they actually sing it:

yeah theyre great! its like paramore without being all soft and boring! haha :P

a hell of a lot better! the two voices (guy and girl) blend really well

for me, this song is about someone who has a dream but her partner doesn't being supportive to her.

and 'it hurts to reach you when i'm down' means that when she's stressed or messed up, her partner is not always around to comfort her. thats why she prefer for him to be silent than being unsupportive.

they're rock better than paramore! duh! haha.

and also it could be a relationship and they dont agree on certain things and he/she is frustrating them and they just dont want them to talk
