I was watching a interview with Dustin from when they just put out air, he was talking about the songs and how one was relating to this song. He basically said he wrote this song out if his love for the myth but I can see where your getting the frame work on that.

He didn't write any riffs for 'puppets'. He clams that The Thing that should not be is a slower version of a riff he made for a song called the hills ran red which he never showed ANYONE. So disclaimer on the puppets part |

I think this song is about people who dream "the dream is my reality" but people keep them locked up or keep them from going after there dreams 'They keep me locked up in this cage" and they don't like being locked up. They just want to go off and see if they can get there dream.
This (I feel) is like alot of the house hold problems are about now a days. A kid wants to be a wrighter or guitar player or whatever and the Dad wants the kid to play football or follow in his foot steps. I'm not saying all dad's are like this mom's do it to just dad's make it more known! |
