| 30 Seconds to Mars – Stronger Lyrics | 16 years ago |

This song is weird, it seems like they're trying to put a lot of meaning into the song, but it just seems like a joke, especially when he sings: "Heard they'd do anything for a klondike, Well I'd do anything for a blonde-dyke." But overall the song is alright. |

Tried my best on the lyrics, please correct me if they're wrong. This song is pretty good, but a little disappointing for a first single, its not very rememberable, I forget how the song goes after I haven't listened to it for an hour. Reckoning was a lot more memorable in my opinion. As for the meaning, its obviously about a breakup, where the spark in the relationship had gone out, and the person wishes it could be more like how it was in the beginning, but knows it'll never be the same. |

| I really don't like "Light's" voice, it kind of ruined the song for me, her voice reminds me of a little girl's, waay too high pitched for my liking, but other than that, good song. | |
| Silverstein – American Dream Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I agree with T-Cuppycakes, but the one line: "My American dream wasn't ever to lie, steal and cheat, he won't leave, her for this" Has me wondering if its from his wife's perspective, because the guy in the story has an opportunity to cheat in the bar with the girl and says: "never thought I'd ever think of stepping out I'll fight this temptation" meaning hes never even thought of cheating with his wife, and doesn't even after he finds out his wife was cheating on him, also it says: "Now I'm breaking my back as I cover my tracks" Which could mean that shes trying to cover her tracks and not let him find out shes cheating on him, both are unhappy but I think that this is her point of view trying to explain her reasons for cheating. |

| Silverstein – Broken Stars Lyrics | 16 years ago |

My guess is that the guy has made up his mind about leaving his wife after discovering shes been cheating on him. "We cast a single shadow for so long now It's so hard to see the sun at all! (The sun at all!) But you need light to see The writing on the wall!" He realizes that, once they became separated, its obvious to him, or he sees the "writing on the wall", that they were never really meant to be and they never got along very well in the first place, and its actually for the better. |

Yeah, I agree with SeairaRayne, on the official ASWITS website, it says: "As they struggle with the flawed insurance systems in place, and move to a hotel, everything starts to unravel." I'm guessing he's pissed about the government and its flawed system because he may have not gotten compensated for his lose due to a technicality and so he broke, just a guess though. |

| Silverstein – You're All I Have Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I agree with SeairaRayne, his daughter is the only thing he has living for, and he thinks shes gonna be taken from him by his wife, who he says to her: "Don't you pretend it's gonna be okay Don't lie and say it's better off this way Don't pretend you're not the one who's wrong You're not the one who's wrong Don't pretend" He thinks its her fault that they're family is broken up because she cheated on him with his best friend, but she thinks hes the one who's wrong for burning down their house, and so she wants to take her away from him, but no one understands he needs her to live. |

| Silverstein – I Knew I Couldn't Trust You Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I agree with DiscoveringTheWaterfront, Its the guy's wife that's cheating on him with his best friend, and the guy knows its happening and his best friend can't bear to tell him. It ties in with the lyrics from "I Am The Arsonist" where it says: "Throwing up with the thought of you two, How could you do this? My best friend with my bride, Now you tell me you are leaving." Which explains this song. I wish they would have had a guest singer on this song or something for the chorus or the screaming, so its more apparent that its from two different perspectives, still a good song though. |
