I think this song is great, and it totally reminds me of the movie The Notebook. And I think that keith urban and noah from The Notebook look similar, but that's just my opinion.

Well I'm obviously going off on a tangent here lol but this song makes me think of the movie Titanic. Like in the beginning it talks about "sailing ships" and how they thought "the floors would keep them safe and dry," because no one ever expected the ship to sink. Also, it says "And every word I didn't say caught up in some busy day" kind of reminds me of how Rose didn't say how she truly felt until the end. When the song talks about saying goodbye, it's like how many mothers and children said goodbye to their fathers and husbands. The part that makes me see this connection the most is "instead it feels like it's impossible to fly with you I spread my wings" or something like that lol it reminds me of how he understood her when nonone else did and when she came back he held her on the ship and she felt like she was 'flying.' and the whole song basically demonstrates how he was always with her and that's what got her through life.
Again that's just my two cents lol. And I still agree with everyone else.(: |

I know that this song is about someone dying, but it reminds me about my old best friend. We were so close, and then we grew apart and hung out less often. Now it's kind of too late for us to be friends again, high school changed everything. It's ironic, because our families are really close, so I see her but I don't really know her and I still miss her. It is kind of like "my old friend" because I was friends with the old her, and the new her is someone I hardly recognize. |

I love this song. I think the meaning is easy, it's about a girl who likes a guy and she knows she has flaws but she believes they are perfect for each other. She also isn't going to prove she's perfect or attempt to be, she'll be the first one to tell you she's not. I feel like this song is exactly what I am going through, and I cry everytime I hear it. My family has been going through a lot of problems, and I realize that there is a lot of tension and even if things do get better I am afraid to say we won't have that close relationship we always had. I never realized what I had until I lost it, and that means so much more to me than ever. I never really understood that one day everyone feels like that. Everyone is saying this song is about death, but I think it could be interpreted about being about 'losing' someone in a completely different way. I don't know, but that's how I look at it. |

I think this song doesn't necessarily mean that someone is growing up. My interpretation of the song is that people change and things won't stay the same forever, even if you like how it is or you don't. And everyone goes through hard times in life, so this song is a way of saying it won't be for long, just hold on and things will and have to get better. But of course, it obviously does also mean that someone is growing up and it's sad because you wish it wouldn't change. At least this is what I think, I've never done this before though. (: |
