this song is definitely meant to be their single, but i think it still retains a very intelligent meaning. i agree with those saying the song is about jeremy mendez. i think it is, and it really hits hard that they ended up "the lucky ones" because they stuck it out. love it. |

i think this song is about realizing you're an adult, but that you can't give up your adolescence. it's about the crazy things youths do, and i think he's reflecting on specific experience and a relationship he had when he was young.. it's about trying to make sense of yourself in this crazy world where one wants to retain their youth, but has to grow up at some point. but when you're in this music profession, it's so hard because you're always moving and away from home and nothing is stable. |

i agree with erbylikewhoa, i immeduialty thought of the shins (a favorite of mine) when i first listened to this song. i love this song, the overall message, and its tune. i think it's such a refreshing, genuine.. oh, and for lack of a better word, cute song! her space holiday is one of the most under-appreciated bands out there today for sure! |

while i do respect all different types of music, i don't understand the massive amount of praise this band and song is getting. while i understand that in no way is this music meant to be serious, at least i would hope it's not meant to be, i still believe that it has little value. 3oh!3 is equivalent to many bands that are popping up and receiving fame for basically doing.. nothing, such as brokencyde and millionares. if you're going to give something such genuine praise, why not be commenting on actual quality bands.. like the shins, her space holiday, jack's mannequin, the decemberists.. all very new and hip bands! |
