| Britney Spears – If U Seek Amy Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Had no clue about "F-U-C-K Me" until it was hinted at in a review, and I had to ask about it on a board I go to. lol I think it's pretty clever, but taking it into account, the rest of the song doesn't really make sense. lol I had initially thought Amy was a designated driver or something ("Amy told me thats shes gonna meet me up, I don’t know where or when and now their closing up the club") lol, but then I found out about the phonetic meaning, and now the song doesn't make any sense at all. Nice beat, though, I really like this song- wouldn't mind if it became her next single. |

This is my favorite non-single of her latest album, "Circus". I think it's really sexy and sweet. Pretty self-explanatory (girl seduces boy), although I always thought it was "as your weakness is my show", but listening to it again, I hear "eye on me". Either way, they support the theme of the song. |

| Hayden Panettiere – wake up call Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Probably the most self-explanatory song I know, but I love it so much. The beat is really simple and fun, the introduction reminds me of Paris Hilton's introduction for "Stars Are Blind", but I still love this song. It's really sweet and simple, exactly what I love about her style. | |
| Tokio Hotel – Don't Jump Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Like almost everyone else here, I have to say that this song is about someone who's suicidal. The song really tells the entire story. The listener is on a rooftop, about to commit suicide, as the singer comes around and tries to convince the listener not to jump; to not "let memories go" (which, as rockin_rebel mentioned, implies that the singer and the listener were very close, or shared a lot of memories together). The last few parts of the song are especially sad, because the singer doesn't know how long he can keep the listener from committing suicide, and "if all that [doesn't] hold [the listener] back", then (again, as rockin_rebel said), the singer will jump too, since life will no longer be worth living. This song really came for me at one of my lowest moments in life, and was really one of the things that helped me out of the suicidal mode. Beautiful song. |

Oh man, when this song came out, I was only 8 years old, but when I first heard the lyrics (or what I could understand of the lyrics), I immediately fell in love with it. Like the song says, you should be yourself, and not care what anyone else thinks. When I listen to it now (and finally learned all the words- had no clue about the "little girl", lol), it not only gives off a sense of nostalgia, but it also give me a little more self-confidence. A very simple, very sweet song. |

| Miranda Cosgrove – Stay My Baby Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This one is easily one of, if not the best song (of the four) by her. It's really sweet, simple, but still nice. I always used to hear "some love isn't meant to be", but when you take "now that I've gone back to school" into consideration, you sorta realize that it makes more sense as "summer love". Like the other tracks, it's targeted towards tweens (and in this case, tween romance), so it's very straightforward, easy to analyze. It's about a "summer love", and how she fears they might drift apart or not stay in contact with each other, now that the summer is over. So in this song, she pleads for him to "stay [her] baby". |

wwegurl93, you're right. It's just a slight typo. There's a few, and I just reported them. No worries. :) Of the four songs on the album, this one is my least favorite. To me, it seems like a brat-song. She doesn't want to do anything, blah, blah, so she stays home and listens to music. And if it's 10:28, why even bother going to school? You already missed at least two classes. |

| Miranda Cosgrove – About You Now Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
It's a song targeted at tweens, so the lyrics are generally straightforward. The day before ("can we bring yesterday back around"), he probably told her he loved her, and she couldn't say it back, or wasn't ready to do so, which "let [him] down", and made her feel "dumb". As a result, she hasn't been able to stop thinking about it ("not a day passed me by when I didn't think about you"). However, now it's the next day, and "[she knows] how [she] feels about [him] now", and is therefore, ready to tell him. |

| Rachael Yamagata – Worn Me Down Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
My own thoughts, it's about a guy who used this girl ("worn me down", "I did everything you told; everything to please"), but he's more interested in, or constantly comparing her to someone else ("gone, she's gone", "no, you can't stop thinking about her", "she's so pretty; so damn right"). So ultimately, I feel it's a breakup song, basically saying "I did everything you wanted, but you were never really interested". Why a breakup song? The "but" in "I did everything to please but you can't stop thinking about her" is my biggest hint. |

| Britney Spears – Womanizer Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I've been listening to this song practically non-stop since I heard it (about a week ago), and I'm pretty sure that some of the lyrics posted above are incorrect. Not completely sure though, so I won't go to the Report Thread just yet. "Gotta clue, what you’re doing" Isn't it supposed to be "Got a clue what you're doing"? Basically saying something along the lines of "I know you know what you're doing". "Would be a victim, not another" I always heard "would be a victim of another", meaning it's happened to her before, which would also support the previously used term "sucker". "and maybe I could be ya girl" Pretty anal, but I think it would be better to use "your girl" rather than "ya girl", "ya" and "your" have slightly different meanings, right? Like most of the other users here have stated, the song is pretty straight forward, and the video pretty much clears it up. The guy is a player or "womanizer", and she knows what he's up to. He's charming, but she knows it's all fake, and he's just acting to get with her. |
