Well.. If you're reading this you read damn far. I haven't commented on a song in awhile just because I haven't felt it. I usually figure I know the meaning but I never really cared.. Today my girlfriend told me to listen to this.. And I did. My girlfriend and I have been dating for about 8 or 9 months now.. And I've known her for two years, loved her for almost that long. Heh.. Here's the real kick... We're long distance. I've never held her before for real due to our parents, money, restraints in general.. You really can't understand the meaning of a song until you live it. And I'm living this song. Every time her and I talk I feel at home, but so alone knowing the she's going to have to go within the next hour or two.. Everyday she's running through my head and I can't relax with her on my mind.. I dream about her.. We're just never together enough. We both keep saying "Just a little more time.. We'll be together.. This will all be worth it in the end." And I know it will be. It will ALL be worth it. So that's what I think this song is about.. It's about a long distance relationship.. Neither of them know whether they're truly going to be together but maybe just a little more time and they will be.. Maybe with just a little more work their love can become full and true. |

I know exactly what this song means... Wanna know why? Cause I lived through it :c.. This is my opinion. It's about a guy who fell for a girl that already had a boyfriend.. She let him run after her... Let him be with her.. Told him that she loved him and that they would be together eventually. This guy was already beat up from a past relationship.. He may even be taken too. He fell for her.. Hard. He wanted her more then anything. Then one day.. She shattered him.. Told him it was all a lie. He never could get back.. He never could quite get the feeling right again. He never could let go the days and nights they spent together.. All he wants is enough to feel something.. But she "made a fool of love" and she broke him into a million pieces. And now he's stuck in that moment.. he'll "never ever leave". That's just what I think... |

i believe this song is about a relationship where one person(ima say the guy) in it is trying to stay as faithful as possible but the other person(ima say the girl) keeps screwing up (lying,cheating, ect.). the guy who is broken by everything that the other person is doing, so they leave time after time but they always manage to come back to the other person because they cant forget them no matter how hard they try ('its always back to you'). the guy eventually cant take it anymore and he just shatteres, he leaves and doesnt come back ('Don't wanna turn that car around
I gotta turn this thing around') when he says gotta turn this thing around he isnt talking about the car anymore hes talking about his life, because she just keeps bringing him down with all the cheating and everything., thats what i think.

to me this song has an extremely deep meaning. its perfect because im going through a 'thing' with this girl and i love her more than anything else but she is with another guy, she tells me she loves us both and she is trying to decide who she wants to be with, i love her so much and this song basically describes everything i want to and would say to her. she has been going through alot and ive been there for her the whole time. i want to tell her that ill be there for her no matter what and that i want her to stay with me and be with me and for her not to walk away and tell me she will stay with me cause she really is my true love and i really do love her with my whole heart, id do anything to be with her. im gonna tell her to listen to this song as if i was singing it for her and ill hope that she understands |

I dont get why everyone agreed with the first person who commented. the song is about how he lost his love of his life to someone else or to how he loves a girl but she is already with someone. he thinks killing himself is the best answer, but then he realizes that if he did that that he would never see her again, and that, even though shes with someone already, he feels better when hes around her. so basically he decides that instead of killing himself he is instead going to stay alive and wait for her. |
