As much as I could understand the comments above, and they are great interpretations if that's how you'll take it, this might be the only song the lead singer of CL introduced (and i paraphrase, from memory) during one of their shows as "one of those days when you just don't want to get up, you just want to stay in bed, but the world demands you and you know you have to, and you realize how beautiful this world is and that you almost missed it. this song is for the days when you just do not want to face the world right now."

its about a guy who has lost everything in his life, his family,friends, and/or lover, and he now walks alone because they left him adn the only thing keeping him going is him lieing to himself telling himself its a beautiful world
This is about a guy who's lost everything, and has nowhere to turn for help. He doesn't know who to trust or where to find help, but he knows that he just has to keep living. He needs to get out of bed each morning and face the day, there's no hiding, no backing out, no giving up. He's just gotta keep himself going and keep searching, and he does this by convincing himself that it's a beautiful world.

In a more general sense, this song is just about feeling alone. In the city especially, it's easy to feel lost among a sea of people. The lyric "I wanna ask for direction/But I don't dare to disturb" seems to point to that; it's difficult for that narrator to trust and forge relationships because he doesn't want to impose. But he's self aware, he knows that "it's a beautiful world", and he wants to try. That's how I see it, anyway. Oh, and arkyhogs totally reworded kalan60's comment.
In general, It is a beautiful world because in a long run he always lies but he finally realized that the lie that he always pretending is now more certain so he rejoices even if he walks alone, without having friends, loves ones, or anything that makes his life even more meaningful he always knew that it's a beautiful world because even though all of those people goes out to his system, he always keeps on moving because he has a faith that God is always in his side whatever journey his life may take. Wow what a Beautiful World! :)

Carolina Liar got the idea of this song from one of their friends suffering from manic-depression. The friend would hate having to wake up in the morning and see the sun. When someone is in that situation they have to tell themself that this world truly is beautiful, even if they don't see it at the time. Great song.
