| State Radio – Give You All My Time To Save Lyrics

well, this seems to me a very literal song sunshine, is actually the sun, he wakes up to gray skies, cold and alone. every minute that passes in the sun is a another moment gone forever, in my opinion he is saying that he is missing the little things in life like sitting out in the sun and enjoying life, rather then living and working a dull life, and eventually never seeing the sun again. Then again, it could be about a girl, but who wants that? |

agreed and agreed, State Radio is very much against the war in iraq (for obvious reasons) They certainly used some great analogies in this song |

mgmt want's their music heard..otherwise they wouldn't be on tour with beck. What they don't want to do it end up "selling out" on their fans or themselves, because their music has so much meaning to it. Other then that i completely agree with aloysious |

This is not to be taken literally. This is one of the most powerful cover off of Rage's infamous renegades album. This is commentary on how horrible everything in this world is. It's extremely cynical and sarcastic, but honest at the same time.. |

| Spoon – Lines In The Suit Lyrics

I love this song, I don't why it just takes me on some sort of hypnotic rhythmic journey. Spoon is an amazing band, and just that they thought to sing the lyrics like that is amazing and shows their true talent. I definitly rank this in their top 3 songs. As to the meaning... I see the first stanza being about a boss coming out and telling a worker that that's all he is, and the worker being depressed about it because he feels like he's right. Then The next stanza to me is the working sitting in his cubicle listening to the sounds of life passing him by while he sits in his box, and he just wants to go home. The next set to me is him just watching the hr clerk, just wasting her life, obsessed with her job, life has already passed her by, and he doesn't want to it to happen to him. Just my opinion on the song..but nevertheless AMAZING. |

just throwing this up there, in case anyone didn't know, Judas is a reference to the man who betrayed the man known as jesus christ, and handed him over to pontious pilate, who had him crucified, after the crowd asked him to do it. It could be a reference to him being betrayed by a friend, possibly drug related? |

about us (amercians) the world police walking all over countries, disregarding and desanctifying their lands and otherwise fracturing their country. The CIA is one of the, if not the, most corrupt agency America utilizes. Torture, and propaganda are just a few of the tools they use to "get the job done". Don't ever trust your government, because your government doesn't trust you. |

Citizen Cope is notorious for writing whatever lyrics he can onto paper, and then figuring out what they mean. This song is more literal then that though, but i think like most songs it can be taken any way by the listener. For me it's just a song about "keep on keeping on". Pretty much don't stop now, because in a mile everything will be okay. The stupid petty shit that matters today won't matter at all tomorrow.. |

I really do feel that this song is about a couple, and not just a "group". Why else would he talk about falling in love, and making love. I don't talk a bout those kind of things with my group of friends. I think it is just describing a lifestyle, that we've all experienced at some point, though not a necessarily bad one.. |

Its pretty much just showing how the government is bringing down itself, just because we elect them doesn't mean they become saints. The united states government is one of the most corrupt governments to ever exist. Don't ever trust your government, because your government doesn't trust you. |

it's a song about a waitress at a restaurant that he finds himself attracted to, pretty much just trying to get his love machine on, hes got no money so he's paying her in orgasms, filled with double entendre, but it is a GREAT song. |
