CIA Lyrics
Mama, mama, don't look now
I'll say when 'cause there's a red bus and it's coming up alone
And I might recommend
That when the protests are over
You will not expect to be so well
When the capital is crowded with effigies
And they might do you in
If you don’t know your country
Don't you ever let us down
CIA
I know you'll never let us down
CIA
As you sit on the crowd and keep them working
And say again.
Mama mama don't you see
'Cause it's just one of them lonely days
When we say how we fear that the last fence has fallen
Do you not expect to be so wel-
Come to the life of the foreign national
Where are the Americans now that they fractured your country
Don't you ever let us down C.I.A.
I know you'll never let us down C.I.A.
As you sit and call in sick your empire needs protecting
Your empire needs protecting
Since you fractured your country
Don't you ever let us down C.I.A.
I know you'll never let us down C.I.A.
As you sit and call in sick your empire needs protecting
Your empire needs protecting
Your empire needs protecting
Your empire needs
I'll say when 'cause there's a red bus and it's coming up alone
And I might recommend

From the info blurb on PatchMusic: "Written after reading, visiting and listening to countless atrocities aided and committed by the U.S. as a result of their warped agenda to keep South America a capitalist continent. The song itself is really a joy to play. When we played it in Cologne, Germany, there was this amazing crowd and they all knew it somehow. Everyone was on board and just screamed along with us."
To quote Chad:
"This song is about Communist paranoia"
well, would you care to elaborate?

I saw State Radio live last night in Boston and this song was definitely the best one that they played. Incredible song. ManintheHall is right about the meaning, as well.
I was there too, the somewhat dispatch reunion "tease" was a bit much, though it was a very good performance especially Rash
I have just started to listen to the band and I like a lot of their songs. I agree with maninthehall about this song that it is governmental paranoia, not necessarily communistic paranoia though.
Uhm the song meaning is pretty self-explanatory.
The CIA told us Iraq had Nuclear Weapons. They were wrong. They let us (America) down, created death and destruction, and fractured the American people.
Dont you ever let us down, CIA.
Duhhhhh.
about us (amercians) the world police walking all over countries, disregarding and desanctifying their lands and otherwise fracturing their country. The CIA is one of the, if not the, most corrupt agency America utilizes. Torture, and propaganda are just a few of the tools they use to "get the job done". Don't ever trust your government, because your government doesn't trust you.
The beat in this song is awesome.
