Brooks that babble the sounds of torture." your silence of opinion makes you better as you are accepted but since there is so very few ways to be accepted with little tolerance the streams of solace are few and narrow. While there is streams of those who choose not to conform and scream out in torture of their isolation. The truth is merely anything the government doesn't want you to know about. "its like a secret code" The worlds most basic code in all fairness As for your entire last paragraph. Could you survive? But more importantly how is this song relevant to this song. Stop trying to be a tough guy. Also i think a lot more than half the world would die if we nuked the atmosphere, think about radiation kill pretty much all the land so no food, going through the world spreading radiation everywhere killing us. im going to go slightly different to everyone. this is what i feel atm which really sucks. a guy is completely addicted to a girl who is his best friend. Something then happened which kind of ruined their friendship and one is thinking of suicide because he has no one else. letting it slip is saying something happened to ruin their friendship and falling free is trying to kill him/her self via jumping off whatever I was alone, falling free Trying my best not to forget What happened to us, what happened to me What happened as I let it slip the guys addiction and dependence on the girl was so strong he forgot everything else and without her everything is so weird and confusing. the passer bys are friends he no longer thinks of or cares about who wish to erase his addiction to the person so he can be himself again I was confused by the powers that be Forgetting names and faces Passers by were looking at me As if they could erase it the meds represent the girl. they need each other. theyre addicted to each and cant quite function properly without each other. Baby, did you forget to take your meds? he back to thinking of killing himself and is remembering the good times he had with his friend and wonders how he can possibly live without her. And the sex, and the drugs, and the complications as for the ending im not sure. id like to think its set in the pass and they are now friends or more again but i cant quite see it that way. i think its pass tense because its more like a suicide note. i really think this song is about an alcoholic (her). she feels amazing drunk, untouchable (as said in the lyrics) but the feeling is wearing off as she drinks (this party's over) and she realizing alcohol, while being her savior from herself is also destroying her and she needs to stop but cant. i do hate pink honestly but i like this song (actaully i like most songs about addiction) |
