This is probably one of the best otep songs in my personal opinion mostly because she doesnt just scream...i LOVE her scream but this has a really deep meaning and her voice just really connects to it. I'm am very lucky cause i am an mexican/american but i DONT get made fun of that. i have a 'good' body figure. so im not so "ugly" but we all are beautiful. i belive that this song gets that through. You can almost understand each word so you dont have to look up the lyrics..just the best song in the world...i DO get fun of cause i decide to be the unique one of the school. I do go astray of what other people think is "cool" i do follow my own drum and i am proud of it...so this song is great and very infectious :) love you all jasmine |

I honestly can relate to this song... especially this part.... its the rich man's war but its the poor that fight See the rich kids at my school always get their way...if they do someething while im around and a teacher catches it, it me the poor child who has to fight and suffer. See everyone at our school is scared of these rich kids becuase they will used their parents against you, and even their siblings. it IS time to stand up speak out and to strick back we need to get it through the people of today's head that money isn't every thing and that the poor have a voice to...this is deffinatly a great song and to FetusEaturr_x i agree with him i'd rather hear an otep song in which DOES have a deep meaning than some emo music...the people who feel sorry for themselves, now dont get me wrong i DO like some of their music and i DO have emo friends, its just that people like us stand up for what we belive in and there is nothing better than that :) Plus i would also rather hear this than rap...all it does is downgrade women...make them look as if we all are sluts, and i wont just blame it on the men, it's also the women. They only help w/ that. so im sorry i wrote such a long thing :[ but i had tons to say and i needed to let it out love you all jasmine |

Ten guage needles into prayer (?) it's Genocide lines the hall Ten guage needles and a prayer that's those two lines This song is pretty much blasphemous and i think that's basically what she aimed for (doesnt she always?) But i think that she may be making fun of any christian or catholic...someone along those lines and religion on the other hand i LOVE otep shamaya...she's my hero : ) |
