i agree with oarfanatic........this song is simply amazing......probably my favorite O.A.R. song~~it comes close to That Was A Crazy Game Of Poker (the live version from Live From Madison Square Garden) anyways.......the song is great and O.A.R. is even better...favorite band of all time**** |

hahah oops i thought you guys were asking if the quote "one good thing about music is when it hits ya you feel no pain..." comes from Bob Marley's song Trenchtown Rock.....sorry bout that lol.......but yes im pretty sure when Marc refers to the "wise man" he is talking about Bob Marley....... |

yea they did take the line from Bob Marley's song Trenchtown Rock........Marc says that Bob Marley is a huge influence for him and that he purposely used that quote in their song.......in Night Shift...Stir It Up they invite Junior Marvin from Bob Marley's band on stage to sing with them......great song....so simple but really fun...........the Live From Madison Square Garden version is incredible...... |

ok.......look on the Live From Madison Square Garden CD it talks about Michael and how they started playing in a basement 10 years back.... BUT not after About Mr. Brown.......they said this after LIVING IN THE END!!! i dont know why you guys think they are talking about Michael relating to this song.......they might dedicate About Mr. Brown to Michael on another album....but not on Live From Madison Square Garden.........great song.......O.A.R. is simply amazing!!!!!!! |
