I love the beat to this song. I rock so hard on it... haha he's saying his heart is heavy on wanting the cross.. but why? I think it's aout being compulsive and impulsive. he want anything of value he sees. and doesn't care what it takes to accomplish his goals. and the last verse is his reflection on it all. how it's only for a moment he feels the completeness of himself with whatever he's been wanting. beautiful words all over.....oh man. :) |

this song is about how a girl had got to him so well and he truely loved her, but he couldn't stay with her, because he's always off on tour and such. so the girl doesn't want that. so the relationship ended. they both still want the best for each other and are probably on good terms. so I just want to say that kenny vasoli is a pioneer of the "drive thru sound." if that makes sense to anybody. the starting line, a new found glory and fenix tx we're just a few of their best and I found it humorous that when the starting line left, drive thru went down hill. eh, oh well. so for anyone who is interested in my explanation, I feel this song isn't just about a "perfect relationship," respectively, it is about the need and want of said relationship. So in retrospect, this isn't really a perfect relationship at all. I think the two characters (kenny and girl..?) are pretty torn from lack of contact and physical connection. So for anyone who has experienced something of the sort, it makes a lot more sense, I think. There are obviously really strong feelings and a lot of need that aren't being fully fulfilled, but they want to stick by each other. This is a couple, (falling) in love and wanting to have each other forever. They don't care about circumstances or tribulations. They just need love. :] |

actually, the last line is the only line in the first song which is untitled.. i think there could be a connection this way, saying the world has a way of repeating itself. This song is obviously an ending of sorts, but at the same time takes away the light at the end of the tunnel. He's a ghost, and he wont leave unless he/she leaves. |
