the composure used in this song is just amazing in my opinion... the guitar digital delay in the outro is INCREDIBLY catchy and well-written. Not to mention original as fuck. I love this band. They're all really down to earth and super cool. I met all of them minus the drummer (although he seemed cool when I was screaming shit at him during sound check and he always replied with a smirk and stuff). |

"My take on this song is that it's about a dying soldier going through his last moments of life, this song is his message to his family, friends and wife & kids possibly, he's telling them he'll always be there with them in memory "Dream of me, locked inside your mind I’ll hide" I'm not coming home is what gave it away for me, and no offense to people who think it's him trying to get a girl, but usually in a song about that if he's trying to get the girl... they wouldn't have a home together for him to go to already.... just puttin it out there lol " when someone is at war, doesn't the term "coming home" usually used loosely? As in coming back to home soil or turf? Limiting that phrase to a physical house is a little far out in my opinion. another thing that makes me believe that it's about a family is because, if you read, he talks about "breathing along someones thighs". Unless YOU do this with your immediate family, I don't think many people would write a song about that =D |

@ the whole stealing lyrics thing: I don't normally add to the whole gossip thing; I let officials deal with that, but on Jonny's personal myspace page, it does in fact state that he listens to Acceptance. Being as Over you is their most catchy/famous song; I recon it'd be anything near "coincidental". 'tis all |
