Pretend. Release. The Close Lyrics

We'll base these lies on this one night for you,
And out of the mould we'll rise, out of the mould,
Take back what I own and for you I'm alone.

This household reeks, indifference is a curse that we can't pass by,
We will love, I'll break you down; we will love, I'll break you.

This blow never came so fast, this breath won't be his last, the dreams alive.

We all suffer from insecurity,
Throw your hands to the sky, hold out wide, I lied,
Now I know where I'm from today.

Said that you wanted to know, how is it going to go? Failed my life.

And out of stone we all fall away.

And hey, here comes the attitude, I'm not even mad at you,
Just sit back and take a cue, there's nothing left for you.

Both of you could be right about any of this really. This is a very rough thing I did just jotting stuff down the first day it was released and I had a free period at school with no work (time well spent, I'm a dilligent student).

I heard blow as well; only "This blow (cocain) never HIT so fast"...

And @ Sparksthe: you can hear him annunciate the "S" on "comes" the attitude; it can't be 'cut'

I perfectly hear "this blow never came so fast" also "and HEY here comes the attitude"...I have fallen in love with ths song soooo much. this and set it off like napalm are my favorite songs ever. they give me chills even now when I hear them. jonny's voice is incredible!!! I think this song has something to do with a mixture of renewal, forgiveness, and betrayal. more feelings of betrayal stand out in the lyrics but I can't understand certain parts of the lyrics....I hope they post their lyircs on myspace soon so then we could actually know the words to try to find some meaning....lol but yea that's what I got from the song

This breath won't be his last, ?The dreams have died?

The actual lyrics are: "This breath won't be his last, for she's alive"

I also doubt that blow means "cocaine". I think blow is in reference to a hit, which is a metaphor to being hit by a surprise. (ex. personal issues, relationships, etc.)

We'll face these lies, All this ???, for you.

To me, it sounds like: "We'll face these lies, all this wine now, for you"

..

Hold your hands to the sky, ?Don't let it by, I lied?

"Hold your hands to the sky, only by, a line" (maybe lie)

..

Oh, and "We all suffer from insecurities" should be singular. (insecurity)
