I was really good friends with this guy in high school. I had a huge crush on him. He was the guy I always wanted...but always had a girlfriend, and I always had to watch it. Finally, at Graduation he sat next to me. He with a girlfriend and I with a boyfriend but it was surreal at that moment graduating with him. Sometime in the summer him and his girlfriend of a year and a half broke up. One night we went out, and eventually we kissed. I broke up with my boyfriend. He and I got together. Then he broke up with me, being scared. I was hurt but kept on seeing him. I was in love. He asked me back out the day before I left college. We were happy for about nine months. He told me he loved me. Then he broke up with me again saying "he hasent been single in a long time and just needs to be" We still saw each other. It sounds like I am being used but it really wasen't like that...I did tell him though it was like that at one point and told him it was over. He cried to me and told me how much he loved me. He went on a date the other day, kissed her. Told me it showed how much he loved me, sounds ridiculous doesn't it all? Like he's comparing me. He says he wants to marry me, pictures me in my wedding dress. I know he loves me, I do. But, he needs to make up his mind or I'll be gone. Anyways, this song is perfect for us...for me. Love love love this song. It's very saddening but in the end it's very uplifting and it kinda gives you a "high". Feeling like you can believe in yourself and overcome your obstacles. |

I love this song so much.
To me this song means that their is obviously a guy and girl and they somehow found each other when they had no one else. They don't live the perfect great life, it sounds like they are working low class or middle class citizens trying to get by. They are both in love without the perfect "in love" feeling. that's why I kinda think they are both expecting the love story like Romeo and Juliet and it's not like that at all. Also, it could mean that they expect to stay together unlike Romeo and Juliet. I can relate to this in so many words. Feeling like a relationship is not going to be a "Romeo and Juliet" situation and it's not going to be that perfect and it's always going to have it's moments. My favorite line is "Now it's just you and I, We're nothing unless we try Oh no, we're not Romeo, not Juliet"

Awh, Man...After hearing this song for only the second time I must say its repetitive sound and sound effects are so unbelievable annoying. This song is depressing too, Sorry in my opinion, one of the worst songs I have ever heard in my life. It doesn't show talent at all. |

This has become one of my favorite songs after listening to it for awhile. This song is obvious my favorite lyric is "This may not last, but this is now, So love the one you're with. You wanna chase, But you're chasin' your tail. A quick fix won't ever Get you well."
I love this because every guy that ive met has always tried to get with me and has always pushed me further into something I didn't want so I think this song explains what I would want rather than what I have had. |

I believe this song has a lot of meaning!
They way he goes into "You are loved" He always sings out with passion. Sometimes, having the song simple is the only way people can understand it. Just because its simple doesnt mean it doesnt have depth. I love it.
But when he says "It's just the weight of the world" I don't understand that...I do but..the weight of the world is alot, so..idk why it wouldnt be hard, anyone get what im saying? |
