| Kimbra – Sally I Can See You Lyrics

If you watch this video of Kimbra back when she used her full name and wasnt so popular http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GONPmnfeP84 it makes me think maybe this song is just about her transformation into who she is now, as an artist, and the emotions that go along with changing your image to be successful or fit a certain mold. The song Posse deals with some of the same ideas as well. |

I thought it was about a man pursuing another man at a nightclub or something like that, and the pursuer is kinda uptight at first, he doesn't really want to dance, but the narrator cajoles him into loosening up and being in the moment, and they hit it off. I guess the Kazan part doesn't really fit though...dunno if you would follow a stranger from one city to another just to possibly hook up :P |

I was going to complain about this song not having more comments...but the juxtaposition between those two existing comments is so perfect, they should lock this comment section. |

I'm surprised nobody caught the Bob Dylan reference - the third line is from "All Along the Watchtower". I did like the analysis of the "broken accidental stars" part referring to other bands, but I thought this one would have been obvious. |

Yeah, he's been making music for a long time.
I was going to submit this myself - I think there might be a few errors in this version of the lyrics... |

| Foo Fighters – Stacked Actors Lyrics

If it's true that this song is about fake Hollywood types and actors, then everyone is right - it isn't only about Courtney, but it is indirectly about her, becuase she's a fake Hollywood type and an actress. So let's all be friends.
I think this is the most underrated Foo Fighters song. Should've been a single. |

| Ted Leo and the Pharmacists – Dirty Old Town Lyrics

I saw Ted Leo at the Echo in LA several years ago, one of my first experiences with live music, in fact. The Fiery Furnaces opened for him, and they covered this song.
Great memories. |
