If you read the book, the order and lyrics of the song make so much sense. Girl with Golden Eyes is about both his addiction to heroin (persian) and a futile attempt to get clean by switching to methadone (while still drinking and blowing lines). You should read it, it's amazing! |

This is all about his addiction to heroin. In his book, he talks a great deal about the difference between persian and china white. The passages that he reads are also from the book, which is a collection of daily writings while he was spiraling out of control with his heroin addiction. |

Having just finished the book, this song stands out to me as being all about Vanity and her impact (negative and positive) on Sixx's behavior during the mid '80s. Especially considering Vanity's current evangelical work, the Pray for Me lyrics definitely point to her! |
