except i dont think the depression is clearing, is the chorus..i think its about feeling many emotions at once which causes you to keep changing and it makes you not know who you are |

This song seems to be about being picked on in school. "What do I do to ignore what's behind me?" People beind you laughing at you and you dont know whether to.."follow my instincts blindly?" or "give in to sad thoughts that are maddening?". I've been here. And still am. Its not about wanting to be alone luv4linkin...its about BEING ALONE. The title is in fact "By Myself". |

I agree with bascially everyone above. He does seem to talk about his childhood alot..There could be some of that in this song...but of course thats not what its all about..Bad childhood usually gives a person insecure feelings and such..
