this song reminds me of so many things... the "She pulls dyed black hair back and signs Fuck that night out with the guys I never get a word in with them anyway" line has always reminded me of the way i feel a lot of the time. and the general idea of the song reminds a friend of mine about how he feels about me. |

the guy meets some hot, flirty chick somewhere and they hit it off. he has to go back to where he came from, and she leaves him with her number so they can have another fling if he comes back into town, then she actually goes out of her way to come see him. a one night stand turns into something a lot more. it reminds me of when i was first hanging out with the guy i've been dating for 3 years now. we were friends before we got together, and one day he was listening to music on headphones while we were at a friend's house and he let me listen to this song, he thought the "I professed my love in an animalistic manner Like an endless foreign flick my subtitles were sick" line was really cool. i hadn't heard this song before, (or most of horrorscope) but i instantly recognized it as eve 6 and we started talking about how much we both love the band. heh, i think that's when i realized i loved him. |

| this song reminds me of so many things, but mainly the 'senior walk' the night before graduation at my boarding school. the first night of your junior year there (first year at the school) there is a giant walk the whole class goes on throughout campus, and then the night before graduation there is a walk through the same path. people talk about memories at the different places we stop, and my senior walk was amazing, but when we got back to the dorms at like 2am the night before graduation, we knew it was all over. that was really the last thing we all got to do with each other before we all went our separate ways. sort of a class-wide one night stand, really... we had that couple of hours before we all parted ways in the morning | |
