I love Paramore, and I love Twilight both to peices. But I really think that they could have done a better job with the intesity that there is in the book, sure it tells the story, but it doesn't show the FEELINGS. At least, it doesn't for me. When I read Twilight I finnished it with extremely strong feelings for both Edward and Bella, the book was so pawerful for me that it almost made them real... & I really don't think this song did it justice. It's a great song otherwise, but it isn't screaming "Twilight" so me when I hear it. |

i believe this song is about the relations between man & the super natural beings & stories. "Should we yet document audacity, your last allegations we write." i think that this line means, should they document their latest super natural adventure even if they know that this will be their last? "We’re curious to know which hole you followed the white rabbit down" i think that this means they are trying to determine how exactly to get to this super natural wonderland that is written down & documented. thus with this, i have come to the conclusion, that this man/men have become obsessed with the super natural state & now know that their journey is ending all too quickly. this is a spectacular song. |

this song is truely amazing. and pla7 is right. im thinking that when it says this, "And all I had was the memory of what was so lets pretend it never mattered to us I hope this message finds you well I never thought I'd live to tell what's a dream and what is real, the way I really feel" is saying all he has is the memory of what his friend/person he knew who died, saying he wished he could forget, and i think by message he means song, hoping it does good to all of us, not to the person who died. and the last line [i think] means that he finnally got the reality of things when the person died, finnally knew that reality wasnt all that worse than a dream/nightmare. also, the fist line of the song, "I miss you most on winter mornings" the person died in the winter, so it probably means that when he sees the snow falling while he is his van he thinks about what happend, and last thing i have to say is the fourth line, "we drive into the cold and dark with fingers crossed" meaning hoping that what happend to the other person doesnt happen to them. crossing their fingers for their lives. i dunno, this is just what i think. -XxHollyManiacxX |
