I think most of you are right. This song immediately hit me and this is how I took the first verse - i have your face in a photo in high school when you were alive but that's all I have and I can't remember who I was myself then and it doesn't help still I look to you as a friend to tell me It's defiantly a song about how life moves so quickly and he's looking at old high school pictures and this is the only thing he had of someone he loved. I always thought the title of this song ment prision of (this century) but now i think about this song i kinda got what he ment. Everyday is like prision he gets up and does the same thing day after day. "My body's tight my soul's excited and i wish that i was gifted My body's tight my souls excited and i wish i had some spunk" From this line i kinda got that he actully does want to break free and do all these amazing things but he just doesn't know how to pull it off. And this girl comes along and says I don't want to work! i want to just play. and he doesn't understand how she can't think about the future and the "normal" lifestyle of working 5 days a week. But she just lives in the moment, while he is planning his future. "This is our time this is our time this is our Time and our place..."
